As we started to create our film, the first stage in our pipeline was to board the entire story to get the beats down.

After storyboarding, each shot was taken and roughly animated to get the timing and movement set before moving onto the next step.

Then the roughs were taken and rough color blocking was done to make sure the colors and shapes worked before going to clean-up.

Clean-up is where the characters were brought onto model and each body part was separated into their own layers.

Moving right on to compositing, our team took the animation and added a drop shadow and the automated wiggle effect. This is also the stage any props were added in, such as the door in this shot.

Lastly, a paper texture is added to the characters to achieve the paper-cut style of our film.

With everything put together, this is what the shot looks like!
